YES ! We can filter your search by Breed, Age, Sex, Colouring, Vaccination history etc etc.     I tried calling the shelter several times but there was only an answer-phone. Often the attendant is outside caring for the dogs and will not hear the phone, so leave a message and she will call you back. Please do remember however that the contact phone number you leave must NOT be a mobile or international number as our phone can only call local (fixed line) numbers.     Do I have to pay anything if I see a dog I like? No you do not, however most people give a donation to help run the shelter, and the money is put to very good use.     If I have taken a dog from the shelter but find that I simply cannot manage to look after it properly, can I return it? Yes, If you find that you cannot cope with the dog we would much prefer that you return it so that we can find it another home.     If I find a homeless dog can I give it to you to find a home. We will keep the dogs at the shelter for as long as it takes to re-home them.     How can I make a donation to the Dog Shelter or sponsor a dog? The Nicosia Dog Shelter is an officially registered charity, so your donations will be tax deductable, call us and we will inform you how you can make a donation.
